High school juniors and seniors enroll now in Preparing for the New SAT

Bellingham, Wash. – Attention high school juniors and seniors: the SAT has changed! Whatcom Community College’s Community and Continuing Education program can help you prepare. Register now for Preparing for the New SAT. This six-session course will help you navigate the changes and succeed with all three sections of the SAT: writing, critical reading, and math. Learn important test-taking strategies as you review common trouble areas such as word problems, ratios, geometry, data analysis, linear equations, probability, improving and correcting sentences, developing reading techniques, and preparedness for the SAT essay. 

Classes will be held 6-8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays April 27- June 1 in Whatcom Community College’s Cascade Hall. Textbook is included in the $189 course fee. Bring a calculator to class.
