Explore the beauty of Washington with Whatcom Community College
Classes offered through WCC’s Community & Continuing Education program
Bellingham, Wash. – Dreaming of summer vacation? Explore beautiful and fascinating Pacific Northwest destinations with two upcoming classes at Whatcom Community College. Both classes held Saturday, April 1; registration is now open.
In the 9 a.m. – noon “Exploring Washington” course, instructor David Kaynor will introduce the class to his top 10 public gardens, state parks, and geologic features—including how they were formed. Kaynor will cover the locations, best times to visit, and unique features of each place.
Join Kaynor for the second class from 1-4 p.m. for a look at the 10 best forts, lighthouses, and boat rides the state has to offer. Kaynor will cover the locations, cost if applicable, best times to visit, and what makes each remarkable. By course end, participants will be planning their next trip on a path to explore our beautiful state.
