Help fill the Orca Food Pantry shelves!

Post Date:06/26/2017 4:30 pm

The Orca Food Pantry, for all students who need food support, needs your help! Please consider donating staples, ready-to-eat meals, or new/unused personal care items. You can drop off perishables like peanut butter, canned tuna, beans, rice, drink mixes (cocoa, tea, coffee), trail mix, cereal, granola bars, oatmeal, etc. at the pantry all summer long. It’s located in a cabinet next to the Simpson Intercultural Center on the second floor of Syre Student Center. There also are new durable plastic donation bins in all campus buildings. Faculty and staff can log 2 hours toward the 50 Hours of Service project for every one bag of items they donate.

This is a partnership between the ASWCC, the WCC Foundation and our faculty and staff. We feed students’ minds… let’s join together to feed their bodies, too!
