Debbie Gann has worked in the home healthcare field for the past 30 years. She is a strong advocate for not only seniors but their families as well. Debbie believes it is imperative that people are made aware of the variety of services available as this helps to ensure the best possible outcomes. She not only has experience in her professional life but also in her personal life. Her mother had Alzheimer's disease and her father, who struggled with his own health issues, kept her at home until it “darn near killed them both”. That is when Debbie stepped in and moved her mom to WA where she resided until her death in 2016. It is her passion in life to help seniors remain safe and supported in the choices they make wherever they may call "home."
Debbie serves as Director of Home Attendant Care and Home Attendant Nursing but has also served her community. She served as the Vice Chair of the Alzheimer Society of Washington, served on the Board of Directors of the WA Private Duty Association and Elder Service Providers. She participates in the planning and hosting of the annual Caregiver Conference sponsored by Elder Service Providers and has served as past conference chair and past board president. Debbie also is a founding member of Excellence NW (a non-profit educational organization dedicated to increasing personal and professional effectiveness and integrity). She was the recipient of the 2009 Professional Woman of the Year award, which recognizes professionalism, mentorship and community service.
Although Debbie has lived in many locations, the Pacific Northwest is where she will always call home. She enjoys the beauty of the area and spends a great deal of her time camping, swimming, hiking and exploring. What makes Debbie most proud is her daughter, Elisabeth, and the relationship they share. Elisabeth is 27 and recently joined Home Attendant Care as their bookkeeping assistant. Other hobbies that Debbie enjoys are cooking, dancing, and traveling.
