Wolf, Devin

Devin Wolf
  • Departments:Community & Continuing Education Instructor

Devin loves helping people make smart decisions with their money. He loves it so much he gave up his career as a Civil Engineer to make his passion his day job. As a wealth manager at Financial Plan, Inc., a fee-only financial planning firm in Bellingham, Devin takes a holistic approach in helping successful families, corporations, and non-profits accomplish their goals. By pairing this comprehensive approach with objective advice, Devin operates as a fiduciary to his clients and is able to help them efficiently build, protect, and transfer their wealth.

Devin is a registered Professional Engineer and previously worked as a client manager at Parametrix, Inc. In this role, Devin helped communities identify their greatest infrastructure needs, develop a plan for meeting those needs, determine how to fund the projects, and finally deliver the projects through design and construction management.

Devin received his Bachelor’s degree from Carroll College in Helena, MT where he studied Engineering and Business. He received the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, PMP® (project management professional designation), and is a PE (Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Washington). He volunteers as the wrestling coach at Assumption Catholic School, and taught the Money Sense program at WWU as a volunteer helping college students develop financial literacy. Devin is also a member of the Northwest Washington Estate Planning Council.

Outside of work Devin loves to spend time with his wife and three kids, dabbles in real estate investing, loves to BBQ, and just about any sport you can think of (hiking, biking, backpacking, fishing, hunting, racquetball, wakeboarding, snowboarding, football, wrestling, golf).
