Chuck Dingee has been a Beatles fan since he was in grade school, and saw the Beatles in Comiskey Park (in Chicago) when he was 12 years old. He is a founding member of the local band "The Walrus," which began playing about 20 years ago as an all- Beatles band. Currently, they play several Beatles songs, along with other classic rock covers, and still occasionally play all-Beatles shows. Chuck spent about 8 years (1986-1994) traveling around the world presenting a workshop called "The World Game" at colleges, universities, corporate conferences, high schools, and community groups. The workshop was based on the ideas of R. Buckminster Fuller, and was a simulation game played on the world's largest and most accurate map of the world, which Chuck helped build.
Chuck attended Indiana University for a few years right after high school, and then traveled the country playing music. He later attended WWU for a few years before developing and facilitating The World Game.
Chuck likes to play Scrabble and Backgammon, and enjoys sailing, hiking, and collecting (and cooking) wild mushrooms. And of course, he loves to play music.
