Chas Hoppe is a freelance writer and editor specializing in web content and book publishing. As an editor, he has helped prepare countless book-length works, dissertations, and web articles for publication. As a writer and ghostwriter, he has assisted with content for best-selling textbooks, a TEDx talk, and articles for Huffington Post, Harvard Business Review, and HowStuffWorks.
He has over 10 years of experience coaching SAT, SAT Subject Tests, and ACT test prep in individual, small group, and full classroom settings. During this time, Chas has helped students build a formula for success by developing both core language skills and big-picture testing strategy.
Chas has a BA and MA in English from Western Washington University, where he was managing editor of the Bellingham Review. Currently he is a poetry and reviews editor for Heavy Feather Review. His poems have been published in journals such as Salt Hill, Columbia Poetry Review, and Spork. His debut poetry collection, The Diegesis, cowritten with Joshua Young, was released by Gold Wake Press in 2013.
