Brenda Wilbee comes from a long time of writers, teachers, and editors. She taught composition at Western Washington University and Whatcom Community College, and holds workshops and seminars at writers conferences. "WITHOUT EFFORT," writes Barb McHugh of Whatcom Community College, "Brenda emanates warmth and trust—essential for tapping into unexpected creativity. Her flair for being immediate and responsive creates a climate that entices writers to draw upon themselves to inform their work.”

Brenda holds an BA in Creative Writing, an MA in Professional Writing, and an AA in Graphic Design.

While getting her BA at Fairhaven College she was awarded the "Outstanding Academic Achievement & Scholastic Excellence" from WWU's Foundation and went on to win awards for her writing in both fiction and nonfiction.

In addition to academic recognition, she's served on the board for the Pacific NW Writers Association and was instrumental in bringing in over 150 editors and agents from LA and NYC, and was the first to bring in religious publishing houses and Hollywood representation.

For awhile, she acted as Press Agent for WA's Wheelchair Athletes.

Brenda divides her time between Bellingham and Alaska, where she drives tour buses out of Skagway, AK, and Dawson City, YK, Canada.

Summer fun is avoiding bears, camping in the wild, and boating around the islands of Lynn Canal.

Winter fun is downhill skiing, cross-stitching, and working with clients on their own writing projects.
