Each year Whatcom Community College kicks off the academic year with Opening Week. This is a time for the campus to come together to discuss important College updates and initiatives, celebrate service awards, hold new faculty and staff meetings, participate in professional development workshops, and catch up with colleagues at the annual Combined Fund Drive luncheon.

Opening Week 2018: September 18- 24, 2018

• Monday, September 17: Non-contract day for full-time faculty
• Wednesday, September 19: All College Day
• Monday, September 24: Designated as a faculty planning day
