Drama offers fun and challenging course in acting, production and introductory theater.  The acting sequence utilizes a number of teaching methods in its approach to monologue and scene study, including Stanislavsky’s system, Michael Chekhov technique, and Viewpoints. Theatre productions are produced each quarter and are open to all students. Introduction to Theatre is an introductory course in the history, literature and theory of theatre from the ancient Greeks to today, and includes slapstick/silent film comedy, musicals and vaudeville as areas of study. The Performing Arts Organization includes extra-curricular activities in drama, including an improvisation club. Contact Gerry Large for more information.
