Attention Girl Scouts!

(Brownies and Juniors)

You are invited to attend a half day workshop at Whatcom Community College (WCC) in which you will learn how computers work and how to stay safe online. Activities will include:

  • How to generate a safe password
  • What malware is
  • Cryptography
  • Identify theft
  • How hackers break in
  • How a network works

Upon successful completion of the workshop, you will be eligible to earn the recently released Cybersecurity Investigator badge.

This event is open to Brownie and Junior level Girl Scouts.
