The process of starting an ASWCC Club is called "chartering" a club. The mission of ASWCC Clubs is to bring students together to build connections and a sense of belonging around similar interests. This means you could apply to charter an ASWCC Club for anything that meets this mission—whether it is an academic interest (Engineering Club, French Club, Literature Club) a shared hobby (Hiking Club, Anime Club, Gaming Club) or just about anything you can think of! Learn more about chartering an ASWCC Club.
Note: the chartering process is open the first 7 weeks of each quarter. However, it's never too late to get chartered for the following quarter and start next quarter off with a strong plan for meeting new friends and building community! If you'd like to schedule a club training to get your club chartered. Contact: Studentlife@whatcom.edu.
