Apply to BAS in Applied Business Management
How to enter
You must apply for entry into the bachelor of applied science (BAS) in applied business management program. The core courses start each fall quarter. The application for the fall 2025 BAS in applied business management program will open Jan. 8, 2025.
Priority deadline: March 31, 2025
Standard deadline: May 30, 2025
After each deadline, the college will let applicants know whether they have been accepted into the program within ten business days (not including holidays or college closures). Check your WCC student email for this message.
Financial aid applications typically take eight to ten weeks to process. You should apply for financial aid as early as possible so your application can be processed before tuition is due for fall quarter.
Program eligibility
To be eligible, you must have an associate degree (business-related preferred) from any regionally accredited community or technical college, minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA, and 2.3 GPA in business-related coursework.
Interested students can prepare ahead of time by taking any or all of the following general education requirements of the BAS degree:

- ACCT& 203 Principles of accounting III
- BUS& 201 Business law
- CMST 245 Organizational communication
- ECON& 201 Micro economics
- ECON& 202 Macro economics
- ENGL& 101 English composition I
- ENGL& 235 Technical writing
- MATH& 141 Precalculus I
or MATH 145 Algebra applications for economics and business - MATH& 146 Introduction to statistics
Student selection
The BAS in applied business management selection committee will review the applications. For information about how applications are scored, refer to the BAS in applied business management applicant rubric. The number of available seats may limit how many students can be accepted.
