Passport to College is Washington state’s publicly funded scholarship and support program for students from foster care and those who have experienced unaccompanied homelessness within the past year. Through enhanced financial aid and tailored support services, Passport to College helps eligible students enroll, persist, and complete their post-secondary programs or apprenticeships.
Passport Scholars
Students who have experienced state, Federal, or tribal foster care in Washington between the ages of 13 to 18 are eligible for Passport to College. Additionally, unaccompanied homeless youth are eligible for Passport if housing insecurity was experience within the prior year.
The Passport to College Program Advisor provides educational access, wraparound support, and transition services for Passport eligible students. Former students and students experiencing an educational stop-out may also receive services related to re-employment, college reengagement and college transition. Services may include, but are not limited to:

Indirect services to Passport students
The following services are available to all students at WCC. Passport eligible and non-eligible students are provided with appropriate referral to these services on a case-by-case basis. Indirect services may include, but are not limited to:
