As a result of completing the early childhood education (ECE) associate in arts and sciences - transfer (AAS-T) degree, ECE associate of applied science (AAS) degree, or State ECE certificate, you should be able to:
- Promote child development and learning.
- Build family and community relationships.
- Observe, document, and assess to support young children and families.
- Use developmentally appropriate approaches.
- Build meaningful curriculum using content knowledge.
- Use professional standards and ethical guidelines.
As a result of completing the ECE AAS degree or State ECE certificate, you should also be able to:
- Plan and assess progress for a specific learning style or age group.
