How to enter

You can enter the substance use disorder professional (SUDP) degree or certificate pathway at the start of any quarter. There is no special program application. Simply apply to Whatcom Community College.

Practicum placements, state certification and employment require a background check. We strongly encourage you to meet with the SUDP faculty lead to discuss any criminal history that may impact your eligibility for practicum placement and state certification.
